George Clark

George Wayne Clark, 68, of Kansas City, MO passed away at his home on August 3, 2011. George was born a country boy in Keytesville, Missouri to George and Etta Almond Clark. He graduated in 1961 from Northeast High School in Kansas City. He started working at age 16 for Safeway Inc and retired after more than 30 years of service. George was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Gerald and Levon Clark. He is survived by his wife Phyllis, 2 sons George Wesley Clark (Kathy) of Blue Springs, MO and William Leavel (Julie) of Kansas City, 4 grandchildren Ashli Marlow, Sean Clark, Christopher Clark and Logan Leavel, sister-in-law Frances Clark of Keytesville, MO and numerous nieces and nephews that he enjoyed very much.Memorial service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 6 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park; with visitation starting one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
