Gary Lee Starling

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Lee Starling, who left us on October 2, 2024.

Gary cherished his loved ones above all else. His spirit was as vibrant as the great outdoors he adored, where he spent countless hours hunting and fishing.

Gary had a remarkable talent for building and creating, often seen with tools in hand, transforming raw materials into something beautiful. He found joy in gardening and cooking, sharing delicious meals with family and friends, which always brought everyone together around the table.

Recently, Gary embraced a new title - grandfather. His heart swelled with love for his grandbaby, who brought him immense joy and pride.

For many years, Gary dedicated himself to the trucking industry, known for his reliability and work ethic. He also served as a volunteer firefighter, embodying the spirit of community and selflessness.

Gary leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Gary is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Gayle Starling Sr, and Billie Monahan; stepfather: Ronald Walker.

He is survived by his parents, Gerald Starling and Cindy Walker; daughter Rylie Gibson Starling; grandson Xylin Painter; brothers Jarred Starling and Arron Fee; grandmothers Kathleen Starling and Loretta Monahan; aunt Debbie (Jeff) Williams; and Uncle Gayle Starling; as well as many other family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery on Thursday, October 10, from 11:00 to 12:00, followed by a funeral service at 12. Interment at Terrace Park Cemetery directly following services.
