Gary Bost

Gary Bost, 70, of Kansas City, MO passed away on March 16, 2021.

Gary was born on July 2, 1950 in Henrietta, MO. As a child, Gary’s family moved to the Kansas City area where he was a graduate of Oak Park High School. Throughout his life he worked at various jobs including General Motors. His passion for cars went beyond work as he owned multiple classic muscle cars, including his pride and joy – a bright orange 68’ Cuda. Gary also enjoyed listening to classic rock and spending all day at the lake, boating and fishing.

Gary is preceded in death by his father, Robert F. Bost; step father, Henry Reed; son, Ryan Bost; and grandparents, Homer and Annie Bryant and Oral and Alpha Bost. He will be greatly missed by his mother, Gracie Reed; son, Cory Bost; sister, Sharon Hopkins; nephew, Kevin Hopkins; niece, Alesia House; and five grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Terrace Park Cemetery – Lakeside Chapel on Monday, March 22nd at 2:00 PM, with a visitation held one hour prior and burial following.
