It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gale A. Brown, who left this world peacefully on December 24, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on January 14, 1940, Gale lived a life marked by dedication, passion, and unwavering faith.

Gale devoted his career to driving a truck, an ambition that he cherished and fulfilled with pride. His commitment to his work was evident in the joy he found in every mile traveled, reflecting a man who truly loved what he did. This career choice was not merely a job to him; it was a fulfillment of a dream that he pursued with determination and earnestness.

Outside of his professional life, Gale was a man of simple pleasures and deep interests. He was a devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, often found cheering for his team on game days with enthusiasm and affection. Gale also had a love for literature, enjoying novels that transported him to different worlds and sparked his imagination. However, among his many interests, it was his loyal dog, Gabby, who brought him the most joy. The sight of Gale and Gabby cruising around their property in his golf cart was a common and cherished image, a testament to the companionship they shared.

Gale shared 17 years of marriage with Somdee, and was grateful for their time spent together.

Gale’s personality was guided by his faith. He approached each day with gratitude, kindness, and an unwavering belief in the goodness that surrounds us all. Those who knew him appreciated his gentle spirit and his ability to bring comfort and encouragement to others.

Gale A. Brown leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love for his family, and the cherished memories of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

Gale is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Irene Brown; brother-in-law, Curtis Nusbaum, and great-granddaughter Ellie Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Somdee Brown; sister: Donna Nusbaum; brother: Curtis Brown; son’s; Doug Brown, David Brown, and Darrin Brown; his daughter Christina Brown; grandchildren, Matthew Brown, Danielle Brown, Adam, and Nate Chaiprathum, Erica, Jared, Taylor, Laurin, Zack, Enzo, Louiza, Caoilfhinn; as well as 3 great- grandchildren.
