Frank William "Bill" Booth

Frank William "Bill" Booth, born on March 9, 1934, peacefully departed this life on August 11, 2024. Bill was a man of depth and passion, whose journey through life was marked by his dedication to education and his adventurous spirit.

Bill began his career as a teacher devoting ten years to shaping young minds with his knowledge. After his tenure in teaching, he transitioned to a career as a courier, where his work ethic and reliability earned him the respect of those he served.

He will be remembered with respect and fondness as an individual who valued many things, but foremost was his love of family. He was a quiet and humble man, whose gentle demeanor and modest nature left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Bill cherished the beauty of nature. He could often be found traveling and camping, reveling in the serene splendor of the mountains. His love for the outdoors brought joy and fulfillment, and he created countless memories in the embrace of nature's wonders.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents: Frank Carl and Hazel Evelyn Booth; and one brother: Warren (Anne) Booth.

He is survived by his loving wife: Carole Booth; children: Peter (Katy) Booth, David (Vlasta) Booth, Michael (Rebecca) Fortner, Keith (Candy) Fortner, and John Fortner; grandchildren: Esther, Aviela, Spencer, Frances, Lucinda, Elizabeth and Jeffrey, Charles, Miranda, Jacob, Rachel and Nathan, Laura and Taylor; as well as his great grandchildren: Kristian, Arwen, and Harrison.
