Francis Henry Segrist, 96, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2022. He was born in St. Joseph, Missouri to the late Lloyd F. Segrist and Helen Elizabeth Cater on March 8, 1926. He was married to the love of his life, Wilma Segrist.
Frank was employed for over 30 years as a line technician and later as a supervisor for the Southwestern Bell Company. He also worked for TWA.
He served in the United States Army Air Corp, fighting in WWII, Vietnam, and the English war. Frank was patriotic and loved his country. He was a proud veteran and a respected Mason.
Frank was generous to all that knew him. He would give the shirt off his back to ensure that someone else was taken care of.
In his free time, Frank loved to travel and spend time with his family. One of his greatest hobbies was making fishing lures.
Frank will be remembered for his bravery, kindness, and loving heart. He was truly loved by those who knew him and will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Wilma; children: Monica Simpson, Roger (Kathy) Ensley, Lloyd E. Segrist, and Linda Charleston; grandchildren: Adam, Megan, Stacey, Richard, John, and Chris; and numerous great grandchildren; as well extended friends and family.
