Forrest C. Stewart

Forrest C. Stewart, 86, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023. He was born November 29, 1936.

Forrest was raised in Kansas City, by his parents Henry and Orpha Hoelscher. He was a proud member of the Teamsters union. He retired from Consolidated Freight, (CF) after more than 20 years of service. Forrest was a man who loved life, the Kansas City Chiefs and was a tremendous friend to so many people. He was married to the love of his life M. Gay Stewart. He was the former Mayor of Northmoor; and could fix, repair or build just about anything. It is said that he is as handy as pocket on your shirt.

He is survived by his sons John and Michael Stewart, grandson; Kris Yonkers and Kenny Garcia. He is also survived by his Niece Tina Dodson and many extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, August 11, 2023, from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM all at Terrace Park Funeral Home’s Lakeside Chapel, 801 NW 108^th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek). Entombment will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests you have a Margarita in memory and honor of Forrest.
