Florence Louise Maddox, known as Louise, passed away peacefully at the Kansas City Hospice House at the NKC Hospital, on November 30, 2022 at the age of 95. She was born to the late Lisle and Hazel Patterson on April 07, 1927. She married the love of her life, Ralph B. Maddox and together they had five children.
Louise was employed for Whittaker Cable Co. and AT&T for many years throughout her life.
She was a faithful Christian and a member of the Linden Baptist Church of Gladstone, MO. At the church, she enjoyed singing in the choir and working with Homebound Ministries. Her family would tell you that she was an “Angel on Earth.”
In her free time, Louise enjoyed hand making quilts. Especially when her grandchildren became married as a wedding gift. She loved to do puzzles and read but she was most fond of spending time with her family and friends.
Louise had a kind, caring heart, and will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Ralph B.; daughter: Judy Schott; two grandsons: Brian Edward Schott and Steven Edward Schott; sisters: Dene Weidman, and Winnie Frazer; and brother: Eldon Patterson.
Louise is survived by her children: son: Ralph L. Maddox; and daughters: Joyce (Jim) Flack, Karen (Matt) Hoops, and Debbie Stockdale of West Hills, CA; twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank KC Hospice House NKC Hospital for their loving care and support.
