Flordeliz McNeil

Flordeliz “Didis” Alviar McNeil, 67, of Kansas City, MO went to be with her Lord Jesus on January 28, 2022.

Flordeliz was born in the Phillipines on October 28, 1954. She attended Mary Johnston College where she obtained her Bachelor degree for Nursing. In 1978, she moved to the Kansas City area. While attending Midwestern Seminary she met her husband, Paul McNeil, and they were blessed with their son, Manuel. They shared a strong love for the Lord and were members of Northland Cathedral Church.  She continued her long career as a registered nurse and, in 2017, she retired from North Kansas City Hospital where she cared for those in need for 39 years. Flordeliz was just as caring to her family, whom she cherished spending time with, as well as in her flower garden. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her husband, Paul; son, Manuel; and sisters, Alma deLeon and Priscilla deLeon. She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel deLeon, Jr and Fabiana Alviar deLeon.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home on Saturday, February 5, with visitation from 9am – 11am, followed by the funeral service at 11am, and entombment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to City Union Mission.
