Fern Taylor

Fern Irene Allen Taylor of Liberty, MO. left this world for better things on Oct. 19, 2010. She was born in Cherokee County Kansas, the fourth of eight children. She married Thomas J. Taylor Easter Sunday April 5, 1942. They moved to Kansas City in 1950 and to Liberty in 1969. She was a member of the Kansas City Baptist Temple. Before moving to Liberty she worked at Imco Plastic Plant and in Liberty she worked at Dairy Queen. She loved her family and home. She was preceded in death by her Mother when she was eight years old and then by her Father. Also by her husband and best friend Thomas John Taylor, two brothers, Henry Allen and Clint Allen, a sister, Darlene Allen Foley, grandson Robert Dean Ware Jr.(Shorty Bob), granddaughter Cynthia Faye Taylor, son-in-law Robert Dean Ware Sr, great grandson Justin David Carney. She leaves behind her daughter and care giver Margaret Ware and Grandson Jerry Myres of the home. Sons, Thomas Taylor of Kansas City and Terry Taylor of Lee's Summit and daughter, Gloria Aufner. 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, three sisters Delyte Cook, Earlene Spriggs, Eilene Dillinger and husband Wayne, one brother John D Allen and brother in law, Joe Nunn and wife Sandra. Nieces and nephews.Funeral services were held Tuesday October 26, 2010 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home. Burial was at Terrace Park Cemetery. The family requests donations to Liberty Hospice in lieu of flowers.
