Evelyn Sue McClung, 72, of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully at her home, May 24, 2016. She was born October 26, 1943 in Rural Barren Fork, MO to Mack and Mabel (Red) Hudson.
Evelyn was a longtime member of Eagle Heights Baptist Church where she served as the church clerk for a number of years and sang in the church choir. Evelyn also retired from Bank of America after 20 plus years of service.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lorene Rimmer and Maxine Rodriguez and brother, Jay Hudson.
Those left to cherish Evelyn’s memory include her husband of 52 years, Ray; sons, Dale (Jennifer) McClung and Nathan (Marta) McClung; grandchildren, Amanda (Josh) Baker, Josslyn McClung, Bryson McClung, Miles McClung and Molly McClung; great-grandchildren, Phillip and Emma Baker; sister, Maggie Gage and brothers, James Hudson and Larry Hudson.
Visitation will be Friday, May 27, 2016 from 10 AM- 12 PM at Eagle Heights Baptist Church, 5600 N. Brighton Ave, Kansas City, MO 64119. Funeral service will begin at 12 PM.
