Evelyn Calhoun

Evelyn Ruth Calhoun, 95, passed away on November 2, 2019. Evelyn was born on May 8, 1924 in Abbeville, Mississippi to Walter and Annie (Whitehead) Stafford. She was one of the founding members of the Antioch Bible Baptist Church. Evelyn enjoyed knitting and crocheting, collecting Depression glass, but spending time with her family was always most important to her. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Christine Tidwell, Roy Stafford, and Buddy Stafford. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her children, Ron Calhoun and Ronda Ballard; grandchildren, Megan Calhoun, Paige Calhoun, Miles Calhoun, Halley Calhoun, and Nicole Bowman, and great grandchildren, Amore Poehlman and Clara Bowman. A Celebration of Life will be held at Terrace Park Cemetery - Lakeside Chapel on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 2pm, with a visitation beginning one hour prior.
