Elsa Pagán

Elsa (Zepeda) Pagán of Kansas City, MO passed away on December 23, 2021. Elsa was the youngest of two children. She was born July 23, 1959 to Luis Zepeda and Auera Zepeda in Chicago, IL. Elsa met her husband Santos in January 1979 at Schwinn Bicycle where they both worked. Elsa and Santos had two children, Erica and Luis. Elsa also worked for the Illinois Racing Board for several years before she moved to Kansas City, MO due to her husband's job relocating him. In 1998, Elsa and Santos adopted their two oldest grandsons, Xavier & Michael.

Elsa enjoyed reading and spending time with her husband and family.

Elsa was preceded in death by her son, Luis Michael Pagán; sister, Nancy Drullinger; father, Luis Zepeda; and mother, Auera Zepeda.

She is survived by her husband, Santos Pagán; daughter, Erica (David) Jones of Liberty, MO; niece, Lauren Gray and nephew, Christopher Drullinger, both of Texas; 12 grandchildren, Xavier, Michael Daniel, Elizabeth, Maritza, Mia, Ava, Angelina, Nick, Noah, Reni, and Cole; 9 great grandchildren, Antony James “A.J.”, Olivia, Annabelle, Phoenix, Adrian, Keatyn, Austyn, Declan and one on the way, Amelia; and daughter in law, Shannon Pagán.

Elsa will forever be loved and missed by many.

Services will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home on Thursday, December 30th, with visitation beginning at 10am, followed by the funeral service at 11am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
