ELNORA ELIZABETH (MORROW) FUNKHOUSER, age 77, recently of Kansas City, MO, formerly of Kearney, MO, died peacefully at the home of her daughter, Louanne, on Saturday, March 23, 2013. Elnora was born in 1935 in Beatrice, NE. We believe Mom is busy sewing angel robes, since sewing was one of her special skills. She enjoyed working with various groups in the Lutheran Churches she belonged to throughout her life as well as being a Lamplighter for Aid Association for Lutherans. She was married to Robert D. Funkhouser in September 1954 and they enjoyed a long and loving marriage. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Anna Morrow, two brothers, Roy and Wayne Morrow, and two sisters, Jeanette Seiler and Cecelia Nuttelman. Survivors include her husband, Robert, her children, Louanne Currence, Thomas Funkhouser (wife Debbie), Nancy Baker (husband Alan), and Jodi Harvey (husbandTodd), seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home on NW 108th Street in Kansas City North from 6 to 8 pm on Monday, March 25th. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 26th, at St Stephen Lutheran Church in Liberty, MO, with internment at Mount Moriah following the service.
