Elizabeth “Beth” Ann Spencer, 63 years young, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 20th, 2017. She was born in Kansas City, Kansas on November 24th, 1953 to Roy and Ruby Zimmerman. Beth graduated from Oak Park High School and went on to receive an Associate’s Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix.
Her life was filled with love. She was married to Lance Spencer on December 22, 1977. She was his Angel and he was her Mr. Somebody for 40 years. Through sickness and health, happy or sad, they made it through the storms of life together until her last breath and even still through her everlasting spirit.
Beth took pride in her professional life as an Accounts Payable Representative at Payless Cashways and later working with BMC, which was the company that processed the bankruptcy for Payless Cashways. In her spare time, she loved to travel; sometimes taking trips on a whim, and treating her family with special memories. She also loved expressing herself through her beautiful tattoos, some memorializing her parents and showing her love for her grandchildren. She also had an innate quality to be outspoken and outgoing, and she was the most honest person you would ever meet.
Beth is survived by her 8 brothers and sisters, and her loving husband Lance, and her daughters, Kelly Spencer and Cynthia Paul. Her beautiful spirit and life will be celebrated with a visitation with her funeral immediately following at Terrance Park Funeral Home. She will be placed at rest at Terrace Park Cemetery beginning at 10 AM at 801 N.W. 108th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64155.
