Elizabeth Ellen Scott, age 94, died at home in Bakersfield, California, on Thursday, January 5, 2017.
Born August 17, 1922, in Sarcoxie, Missouri, she lived 52 years in Gladstone, Missouri, before moving to Bakersfield. She worked for 28 years in the Federal Aviation Administration in Kansas City, Missouri, as secretary and then as analyst with the Budget Division.
She played in the bell choir of First Presbyterian Church of North Kansas City before becoming a member of Northminster Presbyterian
Church of Gladstone, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years Harold D. Scott of the home, daughters LaRe Butler and husband Eugene of Bakersfield, California, and Lois Tetrick and husband William of Centreville, Virginia; Grandson William Tetrick and wife Sanna of Los Angeles, California; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Services will be held Friday, January 27, 2017, at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 1441 NE Englewood Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
Visitation at 10:00 a.m.; Service at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Terrace Park Cemetery.
