Elizabeth Ann Kielman

Elizabeth Ann Kielman, 93, of Gladstone, Missouri, passed away at home on June 4, 2023. She was born November 9, 1929, in Newtown, Missouri to the late Homer and Parmelia (Edwards) Markel. In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her son Alan Fashion.

Ann worked in the insurance profession for many years, she also was a driver of dealer traded cars, she was actively involved in the Democratic party. She enjoyed genealogy, country music, and taking many trips to Nashville over the years. She also supported her husband Bill in his duties with the Machinist Union and his hobby with small antique engines. Ann and Bill were married at Holy Cross Lutheran Church on August 15, 2010.

Ann is survived by her husband Bill Ballew, daughter Michele (Tony) Skeen, grandsons, Adam, Cole, and Kaine. Melanie Fashion, daughter-in-law, and granddaughters, Aimee and Arin; 8 great grandchildren and niece Nancy Todd and her husband Jeff.

A graveside service will be held Friday, June 9, 2023, at 11 AM at Terrace Park Cemetery, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Center for Developmentally Disabled, CDD, 9150 E. 41st Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64133 in Ann’s memory.
