Edwin W. Brown, 92, of Kansas City, Mo passed away August 16, 2015. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Saturday August 22nd at Northland Cathedral, 101 NW 99th Street. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 pm Friday at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 169 Hwy & Shoal Creek Prkwy, and on Saturday 9:30 – 10:30 am at the church. Burial at Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Northland Cathedral or the charity of the donor’s choice.
Edwin was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He worked for the Federal Aviation Administration for 35 years. He was a member of Northland Cathedral for 50 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Susanna, and a brother, Mathew Brown. Survivors include his children, Mathew Brown, Kathy (Joe) Dymak, Colleen (Danny) Liberty, Carol (Jack) Winkel, Joyce (Jim) White, brothers, Vernon and Bill Brown, sister, Beulah (Leo) Peterson, sister in law, Eldora Brown, brother in law, Walt (Pat) Sandt, 11 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
