Edward Morgison

F. Edward Morgison, 77, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018.  He was born October 4, 1940, to Fred and Lena Edna (Chaput) Morgison in Clay Center, Kansas. Ed grew up and attended elementary and high school in Clay Center. He attended Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia, Kansas, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics; he attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, and received a Master of Science degree in Business Administration.

Ed married Karen Herdman of Trimble, Missouri, on November 21, 1964. After their marriage they lived in the Kansas City area and in 1975 moved into the present home.

Ed worked as a stock broker for various investment firms until his retirement in 1990.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, one brother (LeRoy), and sister-in-law (Letha).

He is survived by his wife, Karen, of 53 years; daughter, Diana and husband, Terry Wolf, of Kansas City, Missouri; grandsons, Jonathan and Joshua; sister, Virginia and husband, Ken Modean, of Wamego, Kansas; brother, Arnold and wife, Bertha, of Lawrence, Kansas; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and lifelong friend, Forrest Stewart, of Clay Center, Kansas.
