Edgar Mynatt

Edgar Eugene Mynatt, 85, of Liberty , MO passed away on June 17, 2021. Edgar was born on April 24, 1936 in Lebanon, MO to Gladen and Trilla Mynatt. As a young man he moved to the Kansas City area where he met the love of his life, Patricia Evelyn Donnelly. Edgar and Patricia on his 22nd birthday,  were married in 1958.

Edgar is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Le Roy and William Alfred Mynatt. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his wife, Patricia E Mynatt; daughters, Patricia (James) Happy and Linda Stroud; grandchildren, Jamie Lynn (Kyle) Krueger, Clayton Stroud and Nolan Stroud; sisters, Deana Jewel Potts, Mary Susan Roush, Georgie Ellen Fry, and Marjorie Lou Schriever; brother-in-law, Arthur Jet Schriever; and his beloved chihuahua, Poncho.

Edgar enjoyed being outdoors farming and gardening. He worked for A.N.Tall Real Estate and even built his family home during that time. Most of his career he worked for Tarkio Ranch in Kearney, MO.

Services will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery on Monday, June 21st, with the visitation beginning at 10:00am, funeral service at 11:00am and burial following. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Association.
