Dortha Hill

Dortha Louise Hill, 77, of Parkville, Missouri, passed away, Tuesday, August 8, 2017. Dortha was born in Richlands, Virginia April 22, 1940 to Charlie, Jr. and Ada Katrina (Hamm) Tickles.  She traveled and lived in many locations with her husband Donald Hill of 44 years, who preceded her in death.  In her later years she resided in Parkville Mo., with her best friend and partner Maurice Clark.  She had a lifelong career and retired from J.C. Penney’s.  Dortha loved to travel, but most of all she loved her family.  She is leaving behind her partner Maurice Clark, her son Gene Hill and his wife Charlotte.  Her Grandson Ryan Hill and his wife Natalie, her Granddaughter Kelsey Clements and her husband Brandon and her Great Grandson Maddox.  Her Brother Chuck Tickles and his wife Debbie, her sister Lorretta Cunningham and her husband Leon, her sister Frankie Rudder and her husband Wayne, along with many Nieces and Nephews.  Dortha was preceded in death by 3 siblings Rocky, Joe Bill and Rex.
