Dorothy M. Miller, 82, of Kansas City, MO went peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, July 20th, 2016. Dorothy was born on July 5th, 1934 in Ritchey, MO to Charley W. Sharp and Cordia (Gardner) Sharp. She was a homemaker and worked for Visiting Nurse Association for 25 years after retiring in 1999. Dorothy Miller married Edgar E. Miller and he proceeded in her in death on August 15th, 1989.
Dorothy is survived by her two daughters Patricia Fae Gregory of Fall City, NE, and Beverly Ann Brackney of Kansas City, MO, and her son Edgar E. Miller Jr. of San Antonio, TX.
Other survivors include her 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by her son Larry E. Miller, and her four brothers Edwin, Charles, Lewis, and Richard Sharp. Also her three sisters Stella Harris, Allie Koenig and Lucille Harris.
Funeral services will be Saturday July 23rd, 2016 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Interment will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery.
