Dorothy Marstall, peacefully passed away on June 10, 2017 at her home. She was born August 23, 1921 near Maysville, MO to Alva and Lena Gilbert. Dorothy graduated from Maysville H.S. and graduated from Kansas City Business College in 1941. She was an associate food broker for many years and finished her working career with TWA, retiring in 1981.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Donald Lawson; husband of 43 years, Edward Marstall; step-son, Marvin Marstall (Jeanette) and great-grandson, Greyson Bechtel.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Larry M. Lawson (Becky); step-children, Nancy Lloyd (Dan), Kathy Bechtel (Tom), Brenda Kaiser (Scott), 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wed. June 14, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 919 NE 96th St. KCMO with Rosary at 9 AM, visitation at 9:30 and Mass at 11. Dorothy will be laid to rest in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, MO. Memorials are suggested to a charity of choice.
