Dorothea Richey

A visitation service for Dorotha Lee Richey, 89, West Plains, Missouri, will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 13, 2022, in the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Richey passed away at 11:45 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at West Vue Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born June 14, 1932 at Joplin, Missouri, to Charles Arnold Page and Lora Veda Drake Page.  On October 8, 1950, she was married to Howard E. Richey, Sr., who preceded her in death January 17, 1993.  Mrs. Richey was a seamstress in a shirt factory.  She collected salt and pepper shakers, and she loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.  Mrs. Richey was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by four children, Howard Richey and wife, Nancy, Ruby Mattingly and husband, Jim, Leida May Lawson and husband, Ralph, and Rebecca Beverage and husband, Sheldon; fifteen grandchildren; fifty-one great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Her parents, husband, one son, Jimmy Richey, six brothers, and three sisters preceded her in death.

Burial will be in the Kansas City area at Terrace Park Cemetery.
