Donna Pearl Pulse, 88, passed away on August 29, 2013. Born February 16, 1925 in Kansas City, Mo. She was the daughter of Zola Pearl and David Keith Proctor. She graduated from West Port High School. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister Mildred Keen (Charles). She was married to Harold Wesley Pulse. They met soon after the war while Donna was working at the family restaurant. They lived in Kansas City, MO; Fort Worth, TX; Kankakee, IL, Williamsport, PA; before returning to Kansas City, MO; as Wesley's work for Armour and Greyhound Company called them. Donna's surviving children are Donald W. Pulse (Mary) of Kansas City, MO, Kyle D. Winkle (Michael) of Bonita Springs, FL; she has four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. Donna had many occupations before marriage but her love in life was her family and doing for others. Many individual lives were touched by her serving as well as her humor. She was always on the go; started bowling on a league at the age of 71 years of age and joined an exercise class at the age of 81.Those wishing to pay their respects to Donna may do so by attending the funeral service at 10:00 am Wednesday September 4th at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th Street, Kansas City, Mo. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
