Donna Macher, 65, passed away on December 13th, 2021 at North Kansas City Hospital. Adopted at birth by her Mother, Elnora L Miller, and her later Father, Charles “Bob” Miller, Donna lived her entire life in Missouri. She attended and graduated Oak Park High School, taught dance at the TC Dance Club for ten years before going to work at Southwestern Bell and AT&T for well over a decade.
She was a beautiful person, inside and out, who treated people with love and laughter. It seemed like there were fewer people in her community that didn’t know her than who did. Her husband, Johnnie Macher Jr., spoke of his love for her starting long before they got together, and how her smile could light up an entire room like nobody else. The two were married on the 30th of November, 1991 after having spent 5 years together. In the August of 1993 they gave birth to their first and only child, Kristofer Macher.
After leaving the telecommunication business, she followed her passion and became Nail Technician, as part of her love of making herself and others beautiful. Through her work she made so many close friends and family members that followed her long after she stopped seeing clients. Her last employment was with Complete Home Concepts, where she greeted everyone with a smile and made sure everyone got where they needed.
Donna’s love for others can only be matched by the love others felt for her. Her ability to make others smile, even when she was feeling worse off, was always incredible; so many people knew her as the brightest, kindest person. Her life was a life filled to the brim with promise, connection, and love. She will be missed.
She is preceded by her Mother, Elnora L. Miller, and her later Father, Charles R. Miller, and is survived by her Husband, Johnnie Macher Jr, and her Son, Kristofer Macher.
