Don Supinger 67, Lawson, MO. passed away at his home on Thursday, May 14, 2015. He joined his wife of 42 years, Mary Ann Supinger (Rickart) who passed away May 18, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Supinger of Albany, MO, Dora Fattig (Farnsworth) of Stanberry, MO, a sister Barbara Jean and 2 brother-in-laws, Wendal and George. He is survived by his children Tonya (Toby) of Smithville, MO; Latina (Douglas) of San Antonio, TX; Nathan (Jessica) of San Antonio, TX; his 6 sisters, Carolyn (Mike); Marilyn, Diana, Rita, Sherri (Mike); Libby (Les); numerous nieces and nephews; 9 grandchildren whom he nicknamed, Heather "Pill", Chelsea "Hotdog", Caine "Chip", Amber "Pooh", Kadin "Nuff", Megan "Bebe", Kali "Scooter", Aidan "Duke", and Hailey “Daisy”, 2 great-grandchildren whom he adored; Rylee "Twinkie" and Gunnar.
Upon moving to Kansas City, Don worked for KW Dart. He later worked for Happy Mobile Homes eventually buying the business, starting Don's Northland Mobile Homes. Nothing made him more happy than spending time with family and friends planning Thanksgiving Dinner's, Easter Egg hunts, & a yearly family tradition of selling fireworks and lighting up the sky every 4th of July. Don was a kid at heart and a friend to all. His memory will be treasured always.
A celebration of life gathering will be Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 2-4 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. with a graveside service following at 4 PM at Terrace Park Cemetery.
