Dianne M. Collins, 77, of Trimble, MO, died at NorthCare Hospice House on Sunday, May 6, 2018. She was born April 18, 1941 in Minneapolis, MN to the late Louis F. and Leone F. Oltman.
She lived in Trimble, MO for almost 40 years. During her early years she worked with her parents raising nationally-known Brittany Spaniels for show and field. Since then she spent her life adopting many stray dogs and cats who lived out long happy lives with her. She was a graduate of Liberty High School, worked at Irwin Army Hospital , North Kansas City Hospital and Gashland Clinic as a Medical Secretary /Transcriptionist until her retirement in 2002. She was a member of many animal welfare/rescue groups and avid supporter of the VFW and DAV.
She is survived by her cousins Karen Lowery, Christopher Lowery, Deanna Kraft and Erika Lowery and their families.
In addition to her parents, Dianne is preceded in death by her half-brothers Darrell and Richard Young.
Per Dianne’s request, she is to be cremated by Terrace Park, without any services. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wayside Waifs, Humane Society of Missouri or the animal rescue of your choice. Share online condolences at TerraceParkFuneral.com.
