Dennis Severson

Dennis Curtis Severson, 69, of Kansas City, MO passed away unexpectedly May 15, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital. His funeral service will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, May 22nd at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home Chapel with visitation starting at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery.  He was born June 13, 1943 in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. After high school, Dennis served his country in the Air Force for four years. After his tour of duty he joined the staff of TWA and retired after 40 years of dedicated service. Dennis valued honesty, integrity, hard work, kindness, friendship, dancing, his beautiful well-groomed lawn, but above all else he valued family, especially the love of his life "Maggie." He always said "He saved the best for last." He died happy, the luckiest man in the world and blessed beyond measure. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Margaret Severson. Survivors include the love of his life, Maggie; sons, Skid and Bruce Severson; Stepsons, Brad, Bob, and Bryan McNamar; brothers, Derald, Dewayne and David Severson. He leaves behind a legacy of a life well lived.
