Dennis Wayne Scott, 60, of Gladstone passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014. He was born in Kansas City, MO on September 4, 1954, to the late James and Dorothy (Arnold) Scott.
He worked road maintenance for Parkville Special Road District; he enjoyed watching all types of sports and working around the house. He also enjoyed roadtrips with his beloved wife and spending time with his family.
Dennis is the loving husband of 20 years to Mary (Pore) Scott; dear dad to Chris (Danielle) Schmitten; cherished grandpa to Gracie, Lillie, Sophie and C.J. Schmitten; beloved brother of Marcia (Bill) Reese; and had a host of other extended family and friends. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
A memorial gathering and celebration of life will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2014, from 5-7 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery 801 NW 108th St. KCMO (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek Pkwy).
