DELBERT LEE PILGRIM
Delbert L. Pilgrim, 76, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at his home. He was born March 29, 1940 in Westville, Oklahoma.
Delbert retired after 28 plus years of work for General Motors. He enjoyed traveling after retirement, and spent winters in Mesa, Arizona. He was also a member of the Senior Softball League, and won many awards and metals. Delbert proudly served in the United States Army for six years.
He is survived by wife, Lora, two sons Terry (Kelly) Pilgrim and Dale (Andrea) Pilgrim, a daughter Leigh (Tom) O’Connor. His four grandchildren; James (Ashley) Pilgrim, Josh (Colleen) Pilgrim, Sara Pilgrim, and Ryan Pilgrim, and four great grandchildren; Sam, Gunnar, Georgia, and Ella. One Brother Eugene Pilgrim.
He is preceded in death by his wife Norma Pilgrim in 1995. Also brother Gordon Pilgrim and sister Ramona McMurtrey.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 1:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO.
