Darrell D. Kauer, 86, of Liberty, Mo passed away August 10, 2015. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday August 14th at Terrace Park Funeral Home (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek Prkwy), with visitation preceding services 1:00 – 2:00 pm. Burial in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Darrell served 2 years in the Naval reserve, then served his country as an Air Force veteran during the Korean conflict, and retired from active service in 1970. He also retired from the US Postal Service in 1991. He married Mabel Troutman in May of 1970, and with his 2 sons, their family numbered 9 children. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, stepson, and his wife, Mabel. Survivors include his children, Janice (Larry) Ford, Dorsey Troutman, Debbie (Bob) Clevenger, Randy Troutman, Keith Kauer, Kevin Kauer, Lisa (Don) Kincaid, John (Stefanie) Kauer, brothers, Robert and Keith Kauer, 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren.
