Darrell Howard Abend, 50, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017; at the NorthCare Hospice House. He was born March 2, 1967, in Kansas City to Emil “Chuck” Abend and Betty Madison Abend.
Darrell was a high energy guy who loved fishing any chance he could, it did not matter what kind of fish, he just loved being outdoors. He worked as a Hairdresser for many years; was a talented artist; he served our country in the U.S. Airforce.
In addition to his parents Darrell is survived by his children Kristin (Matt) Cox, Jennifer Abend, Zachary Loewen and Hailee Ames, his sister Linda (Jeffrey) Sigler, brothers Darrin (Debbie) Abend, David Abend and Doug (Katie) Abend; his former wife Tisa Clay Abend Ragland, grandchildren: Henry, Heidi, Hudson, Harmonie and Hope Cox and Charlotte Loewen and 6 nieces and nephews.
