Darlene Marie McCoy, 82, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away, Friday, April 7, 2017, surrounded by family. Darlene Marie Tiller was born June 9, 1934, to Earl and Lucille Kendzora Tiller in St. Joseph, Missouri. On February 7, 1952 Darlene married Edward McCoy in St. Joseph.
Her favorite times were fishing with her husband at their lake home at Truman Lake. In her free time she also enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting, sewing, and painting.
Darlene is survived by her husband of 65 years, her two children Michael McCoy of Kansas City, MO, and Joan (Ron) Mooberry, also of Kansas City, MO, a brother Richard Tiller, a sister DoLores Cole, five grandchildren; Kerri Canyas, Amy Ballard, Katie Hunt, Kelly Cook, Tracy Gardner, five great grandchildren; Judah Gardner, Sienna Gardner, Lily Ballard, Caleb Hunt, Joeli Hunt, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by both parents, and two brothers; Donald and Dennis Tiller.
Visitation will be Friday, April 14, 2017 from 1:00 PM with Funeral Services immediately following at 2:00 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO.
