Darlene “Dynomite” Hall, 85, of Gladstone, MO passed away April 5, 2016. She was born August 6, 1930 in Newell, South Dakota to Julius and Elaine (Long) Viken. Darlene was in the Auxiliary Combat Veteran Motorcycle Association and loved traveling with her husband on his motorcycle all over the United States where they actively volunteered for veteran organizations.
Darlene is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mervin Viken and sister, Eldora Reardon.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 48 years, Jim; children, Lynn Anderson, of Grandview, MO, Nancy (Anderson) Peterson, of Castle Rock, CO, and Nick Anderson, of Grandview, MO; sister, Arvilla Kivimaki , of Spearfish, SD and brother, Roy Viken , of Boise, ID.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 10-11 AM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. A memorial service will follow at 11 AM. Urn placement in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Garden Valley Nursing Home, 8575 N. Granby Ave, KCMO 64154.
