Danny Miller

Danny K. Miller, 73, of Riverside, MO passed away on November 7, 2020. Danny was born on March 3, 1947 in St. Joseph, MO to Kensel and Frankie Miller. Soon after graduating high school, he joined the United States Army Signal Corps where he served 4 years, including one year in Vietnam as a Heavy Machine operator. He had a successful 30 year career as Director of Operations for a local McDonalds Restaurant Franchisee, Lee Wagy. He also spent 10 years owning and operating a Mr. Goodcents franchise restaurant in Platte City MO.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Kensel and Frankie Miller and his Brother, Lonnie Miller, his Father and Mother-in-law, LeRoy and Trudy Brown and his Brother-in-Law Mark Brown.

He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife of 40 years, Teresa “TB”; children, Ryan Miller (Kaitie) and Lisa Huffman (James); and two grandchildren, Jared Huffman and Caleb Huffman. Danny was also blessed with many other family and friends.

Danny will be most remembered for his outgoing personality and generous spirit. His love of antiques made him an avid collector and seller. He made friends quickly and was loved by many.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for all of the love and support they have received during this difficult time.

Funeral services will be held at Terrace Park Funeral Home on Friday, November 13th, with a visitation from 8:00am to 9:00am, followed by a funeral service, and burial at Higginsville Veteran’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may me made to the Vietnam Veterans of America (vva.org).
