Daniel Mays Jr.

Daniel E. Mays Jr., 61, left our earth to join our Lord and Savior on June 12th, 2013. Daniel was born March 1st, 1952 to Mr. and Mrs. Daniel E. Mays Sr. Daniel was a hard worker. He worked for Roberts Dairy for many years as the head operator, which he loved. He is survived by his ex-wife, Judith Mays, which continued to be by his side; son, David Mays; daughter, Kristina Ricketts and spouse; grandchildren, Andrew, Daniel, Dylan, and Emily; mother, Gladys Mays; sisters, Kathryn Harding and Sharron Beaird with spouse; brother, Gary Mays and brother-in-law, Roy Roper; nieces, Shelley and spouse, Christine and spouse; nephews, John, Michael and spouse; great nieces, Alyssa, Jessica and spouse, and Samantha; great nephews, Matthew, Nathan, Jonathan and Jacob. He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel E. Mays Sr.; sister, Elizabeth Roper and brother-in-law, Harold Harding.I was regretting the past and fearing the future.Suddenly my Lord was speaking:"My name is I am"He paused.I waited. He continued,"When you live in the pastwith its mistakes and regrets,it is hard. I am not there.My name is not I WAS.When you live in the future,with its problems and fears,it is hard. I am not there.My name is not I WILL BE.When you live in the moment,it is not hard. I am here.My name is I AM.
