Daniel Carlisle

Daniel Wesley Carlisle, son of Daniel Carlisle and Juanita (Gibson) Wyckoff, was born on August 22, 1965 in Dothan, Alabama and departed this life on November 1, 2018 in Kansas City, Missouri. At the time of his passing he was 53 years of age.

Daniel was born in Dothan, Alabama but at a very early age his family moved to Kansas City when his father took a job at T.W.A. He was very tech savvy and worked as a systems analyst / storage manager for C.S.C. for over twenty years.  Recently he worked at the I.R.S. He loved to grill, tailgate at Arrowhead Stadium, watch the Kansas City Royals and spend time with his cats, “Thing One” and “Thing Two”. Daniel was a very loving and devoted father and son.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his two children, Christopher Carlisle and Kaitlynn Carlisle; two siblings, Ken Fick and Cheryl Asbury; his mother, Juanita Wyckoff; and his former spouse, Terri Carlisle. He also leaves behind a host of several nieces and nephews who will all truly miss him.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Terrace Park Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Dennis Patience officiating. Visitation will take place prior to the funeral service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Christopher Carlisle, Kaitlynn Carlisle, Ken Fick, Justin Rupp, Jennifer Fick and Parker Wildman.
