Dana M. Ilardi, 72, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away at her residence September 25, 2017. She was born February 15, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Daniel and Margaret (Perfido) Basta.
Dana grew up in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Upstate, New York before making her home in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a member of the Northland Cathedral for many years and retired from DST Financial. Dana enjoyed oil painting, photography and gardening.
Those left to cherish Dana’s memory include her son, Jammie Ilardi; daughter, Leslie Head; granddaughters, Miranda Head, Madea Hayden; great-granddaughters, Evelyn and Sophia Hayden; brother, Daniel J. Basta and his loving wife, Arlene Davis and friend and former husband, Ignatius Ilardi.
A memorial gathering will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 12-1 PM with a memorial service beginning 1 PM at Northland Cathedral, 101 NW 99th St, Kansas City, MO 64155. Inurnment to follow in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Online condolences may be left at terraceparkfh.com
