Dale Ferrin

Dale G. Ferrin, 81, of Platte City, MO, passed away on Jan 28, 2021.

Dale was born in Cherokee, IA to Opal (Clark) and George Ferrin and raised by his grandparents Rose and Fred Clark. He married Janet (Lents) on January 20, 1962. He earned his degree in accounting and worked many years in the corporate world until he started his own company. He founded Ferrin Accounting in Platte City in the mid-70s. He overcame many obstacles and accomplished amazing things with his determination, strong Christian faith and positive outlook. He had great humor and loved to make people laugh. He was a talented woodworker, painter and an avid reader. His family gave him great joy.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and two brothers, David and Danny.

Dale will be forever loved and greatly missed by his wife, Janet, his three children, Christi Kennedy (Paul), Michael Ferrin (Jenny), Cathy Brown (Scott) seven grandchildren, Mitchell, Kelsey, Joseph, Julie, Amanda, Allison, Nathanael and his sister, Sharon Sudtelgte (Dale) and many nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.

The family will be celebrating his life in a private service.
