Crystal O'Dell

Crystal Renee O’Dell, 32, of Smithville, died tragically, on Thursday, April 12, 2018.  She was born August 13, 1985, in Kansas City, MO.

Crystal Lived Life, she was 2003 graduate of Smithville High School, she earned her Bachelors of Science Degree from Buena Vista University, and in 2009 went to work for Bayer chemical, working her way up to becoming the Tolling Manager for North America. As a lifelong learner, Crystal was working on her Masters Degree through Creighton University. She was a down to earth woman with passion for life, she had style and class, she enjoyed traveling, scuba diving, driving her car (The Blue Streak), truck (Vivian) and riding her motorcycle. Most of all she enjoyed helping others and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Eddie and Robin Johnston; brother Dalton Johnston, sister Kylie Johnston, grandparents Ray and Irene Johnston, grandmother Evelyn O’Dell, half-sister Sarah Jean and Step-brother Markey Gonzales.  She will be missed by many uncles, aunts, cousins, her BVU boys, her beloved Bengal cat Ender and many other wonderful friends.

Crystal is preceded in death by her grandfather Robert O’Dell and great-grandparents Will and Edith Johnston.

Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2018 from 5-8 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Funeral service will be 10 AM, Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the Vineyard Church 12300 NW Arrowhead Trfy, Kansas City, MO 64165.
