Cosby Lewis Mast passed away unexpectedly on November 10, 2024, at the age of 38.
Cosby was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from Winnetonka High School in 2004.
Cosby was laid back and easy going, with a quick wit and a big smile. He was always generous and kind-hearted, and he cared for and loved his family and friends.
Cosby had many jobs throughout his life. He loved animals and worked at an animal clinic. Cosby loved sketching and worked as a tattoo artist. His most favorite job, however, was working for the Kansas City Chiefs security team. He even went to Las Vegas to watch the Chiefs win Superbowl LVIII.
A friend to all, Cosby will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by everyone whose lives he touched.
Cosby is preceded in death by his grandparents, Cosby “Buck” Price, Joyce Price, and Donna Mast.
He is survived by his mother, Penny Sunbear of Liberty, and father, Paul (Ana) Mast of Parkville; grandfather Roger Mast; brother Charlie Pritchard, sister Cassie (Ryan) McGrew, brother Trey Salinetro, brother Josh Salinetro, brother Korbin Perkins, sister Erica (Jordan) Tanner, sister Jace Mast, sister Angela Mast; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Friends are welcome to casually gather at the Celebration of Life, located at the Lakeside Chapel at Terrace Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 801 N.W. 108th Street, Kansas City, Missouri, on November 23, 2024, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to KC Pet Project.
