Cornelis M. Vander Stel, 85, of Kansas City, MO died at NorthCare Hospice house after a long illness. He was born April 27, 1931 in Rotterdam, Holland the oldest son of Cornelis and Nellie (Zwaal) Vander Stel.
He was the loving husband of 57 years to Lois Vander Stel; dear father of Greg (Paula) Vander Stel; Christine (David) Sell and David (Whitney) Vander Stel; cherished grandfather of Christy (Heinz) Liebert, Hayley (Josh) Buss, Luke Vander Stel and Kate Vander Stel; great-grandfather of Asher and Elias Buss, dear brother of Arie Vander Stel.
Visitation will be Monday, May 16, 2016 from 10-11 AM and service at 11 AM at Northland Cathedral, Kansas City, MO. Interment will follow in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church. Share online condolences at TerraceParkFuneral.com.
