Constance “Connie” DeLores Braun, 77, of Kansas City, MO, passed away December 3, 2016, at home after a battle with breast cancer. She was born April 8, 1939, in Excelsior Springs, MO, to the late William P. and Delka E. (Duncan) Shelton.
Connie loved gardening, and gave freely of her time and talent as a devoted member of Fairview Christian Church serving on several committees and participating in multiple activities.
She was a loving wife of the late Ellsworth A. Braun, dear mother of Emile (Bruce) Day, Allen (Stephanie) Braun, Ellen Teng and Paul (Tammy) Braun, cherished grandmother of Alyssa Braun, Veronica Braun, Christina Hamilton, Elliana Braun and Johanna Nelson.
A memorial service will be Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 2 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. The family will receive visitors following the service at the funeral home. Connie and her husband Ellsworth will be laid to rest together in Terrace Park Cemetery.
