Cody M. Budelovich, born on December 16, 1989, departed from this world on November 22,2024. He leaves behind a legacy woven with laughter, love, and lasting memories.
Cody held a profound appreciation for life's simple joys. Quality time spent with family, delicious home cooked meals and shared laughter were among the most important aspects in his life. He possessed a deep admiration and appreciation for his mother Karin, younger brother, Austin and soon to be sister-in-law Kelsey and nephew baby Benny.
Known for his wonderful sense of humor, Cody found immense joy in making his loved one’s smile and laugh. His ability to lift spirits even in times of sadness was recognized by all that knew and loved him.
Some of Cody's greatest memories of his life’s adventures took place in Big Sky, Montana, where countless unforgettable moments were created alongside family and friends. Though he kept a small circle of close friends those who knew him were undoubtably touched by his warm smile, forged through the shared experiences of his youth and early adult life.
Cody wasn’t always the most expressive vocally. The brilliance and depth of his soul were best captured and communicated through his written expressions, and it was there he knew how to convey raw emotions alongside stories that resonated deeply with others.
If you wanted to find Cody is his most lively state you looked no further than Sunday Chiefs football games where the loud and electric atmosphere showcased his boisterous personality and his authentic nature could flow freely. He earned the comical nickname “the oracle” due to his detailed knowledge of the team and the game of football.
Additionally, working around the house/yard and helping his mother with her yearly vegetable gardens were among the activities that filled his life with excitement, purpose and a sense of calmness.
Cody’s authentic spirit will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life was an example of joy, loyalty, and the importance of kindness, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
Cody is preceded in death by his father Michael Barnett; Grandpa “papa” Budelovich; and grandma,Budelovich.
He is survived by his mother, Karin Budelovich; brother,Austin Budelovich; sister- in- law Kelsey; nephew, Benson; his aunts, Sandy Fuller, and Michele Souder; cousins Katie McKenzie, and Sarah Souder; and his best friend, Matt Fyke.
The family will have a celebration of Cody’s life at a later date.
