Clyde “Woody” Wood, 82, of Harlingen, Texas passed away October 26, 2016. Clyde was born Jan. 25, 1934 in Florence, MO to the late Ralph Cletus and Letha Velma (Maginnes) Wood.
Clyde is preceded in death by his siblings, Ralph Wood, Nora Mae Peterson, Bill Wood and Alma Frazier Kopp.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Opal Wood; sons, David Nelson (Lisa) Wood, Larry Allen (Liz) Wood; stepsons, David (Connie) Lamp, Dennis (Leanne) Lamp; 8 grandchildren, Andrew David (Heather) Wood, Dustin Robert Wood, Andrea Wood (Patrick) Short, Justin (Megan) Wood, Brandon (Shannon) Arnett, Derrick (Corrie) Arnett, Sam Lamp, Sarah Lamp; 9 great-grandchildren, Haley Ty, Evelyn Rose, Macson (Hawaii), Aidan, MaKayla, MaKenzi, Logan, Maci and Bayleigh.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 1-2 pm with services following at 2 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. Kansas City, MO 64155. Burial in Terrace Park Cemetery.
