Clifford Lambert

Clifford Stanley Lambert, 96, passed away with his family by his side on April 30, 2011. Clifford was one of 13 children born October 29, 1914 in Marceline, Missouri to Isaac Edward and Ollie Maude Lambert. He was in the Navy during WWII and served on the USS South Dakota. He worked as a Metal Mechanic at TWA before retiring in 1977. He was a member of the Park Hill Christian Church for many years and a member of the Kiwanis. Clifford was preceded in death 5 months ago by his beloved wife, Sarah Lambert. They had been married 58 years. He is also preceded in death by his parents, 8 sisters and 3 brothers. He is survived by 2 daughters, Sharon and husband Don Perry and Janet and husband Gary Thomas, 3 grandsons, Brett Simpson, Cody Simpson and Matthew Perry, 1 great grandson, Saylor Simpson and 1 sister, Lola Hibdon. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by services at 11:00 on Tuesday, May 3 at Park Hill Christian Church; 6601 NW 72nd St, Kansas City, MO. Burial at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Park Hill Christian Church.
