Clifford Eugene Freeman, 76, of Kansas City, MO entered the gates of Heaven, on December 31, 2021. He was born to the late Fate Marion Upshaw, and the late Melba Kromberg on June 13, 1945. He married the love of his life, Sharyn Craig in 1965, in Salina, Kansas.
Clifford was a Army Veteran of the United States, serving six years.
In his career time, he began as an installer at Western Electric. He then spent the next 38 years with Southwest Bell and AT&T, where he later retired.
He loved to fish. He also found great joy in gardening, as well as his flowers, especially roses.
Clifford will be remembered as a devoted family man. He enjoyed many things, but his family was the joy of his life. In his younger years, he and Sharyn spent time on family vacations. In his later years, he spent time with his grandchildren. You could find him wrestling and playing with them on many occasions. He had a passion for taking care of his wife, Sharyn. He loved her dearly.
He was preceded in death by parents, and his son: Randall Freeman.
He is survived by his wife, Sharyn; son: Kevin (Lila) Freeman; daughter: Katrina (Randy) Cline; grandchildren: Children of Kevin Freeman: Makayla, Kennon, Kellen, McKenzie, Keaton, Katelyn, Karis, Keehan, and Keira; Children of Katrina Cline: Gene (Ellen), and Alisha; Child of Randal Freeman: Amanda (Rick) Rodelander; and numerous great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
