Anna Clarice Duty, 95, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. She was born February 25, 1923, in Ada, Oklahoma to the late J.E. Boswell and Fannie (Cobb) Boswell.
She graduated from East Central State College, Oklahoma in 1944, and was a homemaker for many years after marrying Douglas Duty on June 29, 1946. After his death in 1972, she went to work and began a career with the Federal Government as a Personnel Staffing Assistant where she administered tests for job placements and promotions.
Clarice, is survived by her son Steve (Charlet) Duty, Grandchildren Brandi (Jason) Lopeman, Crystal (Steve) Ferguson, Laura (Kevin) Imlay and Gary Perkins. Great grandchildren Blake, Charlet, Cade, Carter, Chloe, Melanie, Mykelanne and Alec and 6 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Clarice is preceded in death by her brothers James, Oren and John Boswell and her sister Mary Nell Seahorn.
A graveside service will be held at Terrace Park Cemetery on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association .
