Christopher Clark

Christopher James Clark, 33, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on October 25, 2017.

Christopher was born in Kansas City, MO on August 10, 1984.  He graduated from Platte County High School in 2003 and then pursued police, fire and EMT training.  Most of his career was spent in security and health services at Argosy Casino and Truman Medical Center.

Chris, with such a kind and generous heart, had a passion to serve others in everything he did and was always there to listen when anybody needed an ear.  He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews and beloved dogs, Cubby and Roscoe.  In his free time, Chris could be found fishing at “his spot" or cheering on the Chiefs.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father, Stephen Lynn Clark; and his aunt, Kathy Hall.

Christopher is lovingly remembered by his mother and stepfather, Cindy and Bob Burns; stepmother, Melanie Clark; sister, Kelly (Brian) Cowan; brother, Brian (Carina) Clark; stepsisters and stepbrothers, Krissy (John) Holstein, Mark Burns, Robbie (Kelly) Burns, Scott (Kristen) Burns, Katie (Andrew) Hendrix, Jeff (Ruth) Bontrager and Heather (Chris) Alt; cousins, Tehra (Troy) Pratt and Shauna Hall; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017, from 11 AM-1 PM with a Celebration of Life immediately following at 1 PM - FBCNKC (First Baptist Church), 2205 Iron St, North Kansas City, MO 64116.  His final resting place will be at Terrace Park in Kansas City, MO.
